Cutting one long video into several short form scripts by hand is slow, and doing it with AI alone without editorial judgment produces generic, forgettable output. Solution: I built a documented Claude prompt system that takes a 2,000 word transcript and generates two phrasings per segment, each opening with a hook in the first five words and closing with a clear takeaway. I generated five scripts from one source transcript, and for each one, compared two Claude outputs against hook strength, tone, and retention before selecting the stronger version. Result: Five finished scripts under 60 seconds each, a documented selection log explaining exactly why each version was chosen over its alternative, and a written reflection on where the raw Claude output was immediately usable and where it needed editorial fixing. Email Draft Generator Using the Claude API and Gmail

A client wanted to reduce the time spent managing their inbox by automatically generating reply suggestions for unread emails. I developed a Python application that authenticates securely with the Gmail API using OAuth, retrieves the 10 most recent unread messages, and sends each email to Claude for analysis. Claude classifies each message as a question, request, complaint, or other, then generates a concise one-sentence reply. The results are saved to a plain-text report containing the email subject, category, and suggested response. I also implemented error handling to log malformed API responses without interrupting processing and provided a `prompts.md` file so the client could easily modify the AI's behavior without changing the application code.

Automated AI Content Pipeline for a DTC Brand

A direct to consumer (DTC) brand wanted to increase content production without sacrificing quality or brand control. Their existing process required manual effort at every stage, while fully automated solutions introduced the risk of unreviewed content being published. Solution: Designed and implemented an end-to-end content automation workflow in n8n that transformed weekly content briefs into review-ready social media assets. The workflow uses the Claude API to generate platform-specific copy, including Instagram captions, Facebook captions, image prompts, and hashtags. It then sends image prompts to an image generation API, automatically assembles branded creatives in Canva using the client's brand kit, and stages all assets in a centralized review sheet. A Slack notification alerts the marketing team with a content preview, while a mandatory approval gate ensures no content is scheduled or published until a team member marks it as approved. Results: * Delivered a fully automated content production pipeline with human approval built into the publishing workflow. * Successfully validated the system across multiple content briefs, with all assets generated, branded, and routed to the review queue without triggering automatic publishing. * Created a standard operating procedure (SOP) enabling non-technical team members to update brand voice prompts, review content, and approve posts without modifying the underlying automation.
