What do you need from me before you can start on my Shopify store?
Your store link, or just your niche if it isn't built yet. After that: logo and brand colors if you have them, your product list or supplier link, and any copy you want kept. No logo is not a blocker - I set a clean type mark you can swap later.
I already have a Shopify store. Do you redesign that, or only build new ones from scratch?
Both. A Shopify redesign works on the live store and keeps your products, orders and customers intact. To build Shopify stores from scratch I start on a clean install and import your catalog. Send the link either way and I will say which one you actually need.
My theme update reset my customizations once. How do you stop that happening again?
I never build on the live theme. I duplicate it, do the Shopify store design on the copy, then publish once. Horizon updates roughly weekly, and since March those updates have been resetting merchant colors, logos and settings. The copy absorbs that, not your storefront.
What actually changes between the three packages, and what is not covered at all?
Each tier raises the product count, then adds the supplier app and rebuilt product pages, then Shopify website development in Liquid, migration, cart recovery and a speed pass. None include paid themes, paid app plans, ad budget or SEO ranking work.
Does the Shopify dropshipping build include supplier setup and product research?
Supplier setup yes: DSers, Zendrop or CJdropshipping connected, products imported, priced and sorted into collections. Product research no. You choose what you sell and I build the dropshipping store around it. Tell me your niche and I will say if the catalog fits.
How long does a Shopify store design take, and how often will I hear from you?
Three, five or seven days by package, counted from when your products and content land, not from the order click. You see a first layout early enough to redirect it, then updates at each milestone. If something slips I say so the day I know, not on the due date.
How many revisions do I get, and can I edit the Shopify store myself afterwards?
Two, three or unlimited by package. A revision means changing what we agreed, not a fresh brand direction, which is new scope. Everything is built from native Shopify sections, so you add products and edit text from the admin without touching code.
I am on WooCommerce now. What actually breaks if you move me to a Shopify store?
Products, collections, customers and orders move to the new ecommerce store. Passwords never do, since the platforms encrypt them differently, so shoppers reset on first login. Plugin-only fields and offsite images need mapping by hand. Send the link for your list.
Who owns the Shopify store when you are done, and what access do you need from me?
You own it start to finish. I work through a collaborator request, so you never hand over your password and you can revoke me in one click at delivery. Nothing is hosted, licensed or billed through me, so there is no retainer and nothing to keep paying for.
What if you look at my Shopify store and cannot fix what is wrong with it?
Then I say so before you order, which is why I ask for the link first. If what costs you orders is traffic, pricing or supplier lead times, a store redesign will not move it and I will say that instead of taking the job. Design fixes what design controls.
