Undergraduate Research Project- Depth-Averaged Granular Flow Model

Conducted computational analysis of granular material flow over an inclined plane using a Depth Averaged Model. Derived mass and momentum conservation equations and developed a numerical approach to solve PDEs using PDEPE solver and Newton–Raphson method. Computed flow properties including velocity profile, layer height, and inertial number.
