An important part of my practice involved negotiating transportation and technology transactions. I addressed provisions governing freight charges, cargo responsibility, service levels, indemnification, insurance, payment disputes, limitation of liability, data ownership, platform access, and termination rights. My involvement ensured that commercial commitments were documented with precision and enforceable protections. I further interpreted legal requirements affecting motor carriers, freight brokers, electronic transactions, data privacy, transportation safety, and interstate commerce. When claims or contractual disagreements developed, I analyzed shipment records, contractual terms, supporting evidence, and applicable law to determine available remedies and formulate an appropriate legal response. My work helped strengthen carrier accountability, improve recovery positions in freight disputes, clarify contractual responsibilities, protect transportation data and technology assets, and reduce preventable exposure across logistics operations. These efforts provided Loadsmart with practical legal support for scaling its freight technology platform and maintaining reliable commercial relationships.
