That depends on how long your manuscript is and how much work it needs. I work seven days a week and don't take on more than three or four projects at a time so that I can dedicate time and attention to your project daily.

I do fix typos and other errors when I'm editing. But proofreading is a separate step that's done AFTER editing. Ideally, it happens when art files are ready for production so that the proofreader can also look for typesetting errors. The author and the editor DO miss mistakes. It's unavoidable.

I can create an ebook file for posting on all the major platforms and a PDF for a print-on-demand paperback. But some books call for a typesetter. That's a graphic design job.

I have a per-word price that I apply to the entire manuscript size.

Editing work belongs to my clients, so I don't share their intellectual property. However, you can read reviews of my work in my Gig Gallery, which include author names and book titles.

That's often a great idea before work begins. A two- or three-page sample edit allows me to better assess the time that will be needed and lets both of us decide if the editing is a good fit for the project.
