Developmental editing focuses on the big picture. I'll provide feedback on plot, pacing, character development, worldbuilding, story structure, and reader engagement. This service does not include grammar, spelling, or copy editing.
Will you rewrite my manuscript?
No. My goal is to help you strengthen your story while preserving your unique voice. I'll identify strengths, point out areas for improvement, and offer actionable suggestions, but the writing remains yours.
Q: What will I receive?
You'll receive a detailed developmental feedback report based on your selected package. Higher-tier packages may also include manuscript annotations, series development notes, or other selected add-ons.
Q: What if I'm just starting and only have an idea?
That's perfectly fine! Whether you have a rough concept, a partial manuscript, or a completed novel, I can help you develop your story and move forward with confidence.
Q: Are revisions a second edit?
No. Revisions are for clarifying or refining the feedback you've already received. They do not include reviewing a newly revised manuscript or providing a second developmental edit.
