I will read your romance novel as a professional romance beta reader, using my knowledge of current romance trends and experience as an MFA graduate to inform my comments and advice. I will provide in-line comments as well as a written summary at the end summarizing big picture thoughts about your work in progress.

This process can be done at any point in your process - after a messy first draft, or just needing fresh eyes after major revisions have been done.

I can be counted on to be honest and critical when necessary; critique that only praises and doesn't identify areas for improvement isn't always helpful as part of your publishing process. I try to couch everything in a positive voice and will also be sure to highlight things you're doing well. Strengthening areas of concern and leaning into your strengths will help make your novel shine.
