What's the main advantage of the standard package?
The standard package includes integration of APIs to enable the chatbot to access other knowledge bases in real-time for its responses. This means your chatbot can actually help your used achieve tasks, like booking a flight or getting their current account statement.
Why is the premium package way more expensive?
The premium package involves fully customising the chatbot UI according to your needs. This means a lot more communication with you and software development is needed. However, it would be wise to define the scope upfront during a call.
What recurring costs are there running such a chatbot?
The chatbot offered with this Gig is utilising the Open AI Assistant API. Open AI charges for tokens generated, tokens inputted and stored files for the the knowledge base. https://openai.com/api/pricing Additionally you may need a server which can run a Docker image. https://www.digitalocean.com
What are tokens?
Tokens are subwords used to feed text into the LLM used by the OpenAI Assistant. Since OpenAI charges by tokens, it is a good idea to get an idea how many tokens you will need per month. To get an idea how tokenisation works you can use this website: https://platform.openai.com/tokenizer
How is the chatbot integrated into my website?
For the basic and the standard package, a widget will be integrated into your website with one line of JavaScript code. This one-liner loads a JavaScript code which is served by a web server I will develop and deploy for you and which communicates with the OpenAI Assistant API.
What information do you need from me?
To adapt the chatbot to your needs I would need the website the chatbot should be integrated to and all the knowledge the chatbot should have in text file format. If you want me to add the JavaScript to your website, I would need access to your FTP server or your website's repository.
What customisation is included in the basic package?
I will adapt the chatbot's appearance to your website. So I would need a color scheme, an avatar for the chatbot and the user on for the message list, and some texts, like the first greeting of the chatbot when a new chat is started.
Can this be added to my Shopify store?
Yes. That is possible.
