Ik hou van lezen van fantasy! Als beta lezer heb ik geen triggers en geef ik de voorkeur aan verhalen met een donkerdere toon. Elke mate van spice is welkom, en niets is te donker voor mij om te lezen. Ik ben gespecialiseerd in dark fantasy, romantasy, sword and sorcery en grimdark. Als mijn schema het toelaat, sta ik ook open voor epic en high fantasy. Ik doe geen beta-leeswerk voor paranormal, urban, portal fantasy of sci-fi (in feite niets dat zich in onze wereld afspeelt). Ik help auteurs graag hun verhalen te verfijnen, en ik geef tijdens het lezen eerlijke feedback/reacties zodat je precies weet hoe ik me voel op dat moment als lezer. Als ik geselecteerd word, lever ik een lezerrapport dat zich richt op plot, pacing, karakterontwikkeling, wereldopbouw, proza en dialoog. Als ik typos opmerk, wijs ik ze aan, tenzij er te veel zijn om waardevolle feedback te kunnen geven en op tijd te kunnen afronden.
Ik ben geen editor. Ik ben eerlijk en geef geen lege complimenten.
