Pterodactyl Panel
I'll install panel on a supported linux VPS with domain. If you want to setup SSL certificate, you will need a domain. But domain is not requried. Panel's vps must have 500MB RAM and 1 vCore CPU. If you don't have the SMTP creds then it's fine too
Domain For Panel
You will need a domain to install pterodactyl panel or to access it. But if you don't have a domain, that's fine too because pterodactyl panel can also be accessed through the IP too.
Make your decision to use just one option because it can not be changed later.
Add Multiple Nodes
Nodes are the servers / VPSs that will host your game server. I provide server wo add up to 3 nodes on your pterodactyl. You can also use Panel's VPS itself as a node.
Cloudflare Setup
As we are going to use an SSL certificate from Certbot, we do not need to set up Cloudflare with the server. Setting it up can interfere with the connection of nodes. I do not change the appearance of the panel.

Do i need a domain?
No, if you don't have the domain then it's fine too because you can access it using the ip address. But SSL can only be installed on a domian
What is SMTP and why i need it?
You don't need it but it can be a good option to add. SMTP sends the email on your behalf. Like if you add a user or want to change "forgot your password", you will need to send emails which is only possible with SMTP.
How can i get SMTP?
If you have hosting like cpanel. You can create a email there and use the SMTP credentials. Otherwise you can use any independent SMTP service to get those credentials.
