Hi, I'm Ben, an AWS Cloud Engineer and AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Building on AWS is easy to start and easy to get wrong. Open security groups, forgotten resources and surprise bills are the problems I fix in my day job. I'll set your infrastructure up properly from day one, so it stays secure, affordable and simple to manage.
Everything I build is written in Terraform. You get clean, reusable code instead of a setup nobody can remember how to rebuild.

1. What do you need from me to get started?
Your goals, your preferred AWS region, your domain name (if you have one) and an IAM user or role with the access the job needs. I'll send you a short checklist once you order, so you don't need to work this out yourself.
2. Do I need to give you my root account login?
No, and please don't. I'll walk you through creating a limited IAM role so I only have access to what the project needs. You can delete it the moment we're finished.
3. Who pays for the AWS services?
You do. AWS bills your account directly for whatever runs there. Before I build anything, I'll give you a rough idea of the monthly cost, so there are no surprises.
4. Do I get the Terraform code?
Yes. It's included in the Standard and Premium packages, and you can add it to Basic as an extra. The code is yours to keep, reuse and build on
5. I already have AWS set up. Can you fix or improve it?
Yes. Send me a message describing your current setup. I'll take a look and let you know what I'd change and which package fits best.
6. Do you work with Azure or Google Cloud?
My work is focused on AWS, but I have working experience with both. Message me before ordering and we can talk about what you need.
7. What happens after delivery?
I'll walk you through what I've built and make sure everything works. If something isn't right, your revisions cover it. For ongoing support, just get in touch.
