My name is Marian and I am an enthusiastic student filmmaker and film editor with over 3 years of experience. I started making films because I love telling stories and creating something from an idea into a finished film. Editing has become one of my favorite parts of the whole process. Can you edit an entire short film?
Yes. I specialize in narrative and short-film editing. For longer projects, contact me first so I can create a custom offer.
Do I need to provide the music?
You can provide your own music, or I can help select suitable music as part of the sound design.
Can you edit dialogue?
Yes. Audio cleanup and mixing are available as an add-on, while more advanced sound work is included in the higher packages.
Can you add visual effects?
Yes. Simple and advanced VFX can be added depending on what your project requires.
Can you make my film look like a specific movie?
I can use a film, cinematographer, genre or visual reference as inspiration and create a similar overall feeling, while keeping the final edit original.
What footage should I send?
Send your original footage in the highest quality available. You can also provide your script, shot list, music, reference films and any notes from the director.
Will you choose the best takes?
Yes. If you provide multiple takes, I'll select the takes that work best for the performance and story.
Can you edit without changing my vision?
Absolutely. My goal is to strengthen your film while respecting the director's vision. If you have specific editing instructions, references or preferences, send them with the footage.
Can you edit a film for a festival?
Yes. I can prepare the finished edit for festival submission. It is part of the FINAL CUT version. If you need a specific technical format such as DCP, ProRes or another delivery specification, please contact me before ordering.
