Lecturer Attendance Management System (Biometric & GPS Verification)

Designed and built a full-stack Lecturer Attendance Management System to eliminate proxy attendance and improve accuracy of academic attendance records. Built the frontend in React and backend in Node.js, with SQL Server handling structured attendance and user data. Implemented a two-factor attendance verification process combining facial recognition (Face API) and GPS location matching, ensuring a lecturer could only be marked present if both their identity and physical location were verified. Built an automated email notification system to alert administrators and stakeholders of attendance events, along with an in-app/site notification system for real-time updates. This project strengthened my skills in full-stack development, biometric integration, geolocation-based verification, and building secure, fraud-resistant systems for institutional use.

AI Document Retrieval App (Chat-PDF)
