Ben je op zoek naar een betaalbare alpha/beta lezer om je verhaal te testen? Zoek niet verder!
Ik lees je boek en deel mijn eerlijk feedback in een rechttoe rechtaan, gestructureerd rapport.
Wat er in het rapport staat:
- algemene mening over het boek;
- mening over het plot;
- of ik het boek zou kopen (en waarom, bijvoorbeeld welk element/scène me zou overtuigen om dat te doen);
- of ik het boek zou uitlezen (en zo niet, waarom en waar ik zou stoppen);
- drie belangrijke sterke punten en drie verbeterpunten;
- mijn gedachten over maximaal 5 personages (gekozen door jou in de "Vereisten"-stap na het boeken van de dienst);
- mijn favoriete scènes;
- mijn minst favoriete scènes;
- een eerlijke beoordeling van 1 tot 5 die ik zou geven (en wat die zou verhogen);
- antwoorden op maximaal 10 vragen van jou.
Mijn andere beta-reading diensten richten zich op gedetailleerde, meestal ontwikkelingsgerichte feedback. Deze is meer beknopt en reactiegericht - geen opmerkingen in het bestand, geen opmerkingen bij specifieke paragrafen/scènes/hoofdstukken, maar een betaalbare, holistische kijk op het verhaal. Het lijkt op wat je zou krijgen als feedback van een goedgelezen vriend, maar gestructureerd, volledig eerlijk en gegarandeerd.
Ik gebruik geen AI of speciale tools voor analyses of mijn opmerkingen. Alleen mijn brein.

Welke boeken lees je meestal?
Fantasy, dystopische sci-fi, literaire fictie, YA coming-of-age verhalen, memoires, queer romance en romantasy. Als het gaat om non-fictie, lees ik graag over zelfhulp, fermentatie, zuurdesem, koken in het algemeen, fitness, tuinieren en geschiedenis (vooral WOII).
Lees je expliciete erotica?
Absoluut! Zolang er instemming is en alles legaal is, is alle expliciete content prima (zowel straight als LGBTQIA+).
Lees je een verhaal voor kinderen?
Ik kan dat, maar ik ben veel meer bekend en gepassioneerd over verhalen geschreven voor oudere lezers (15+).
Zijn inline opmerkingen inbegrepen in deze dienst?
Nee. In deze dienst deel ik alleen een gestructureerd rapport met elementen uit de beschrijving. Als je inline opmerkingen (en een meer ontwikkelingsgerichte aanpak) wilt, raad ik je aan mijn andere beta-reading diensten te bekijken.
In welk bestandsformaat is deze dienst geschikt?
Alles dat gemakkelijk te lezen is: DOCX, Google Docs, PDF, EPUB, MOBI, Scrivener, online (AO3, Wattpad, enz.).
Wie ben jij als persoon?
Ik ben een 35-jarige gay man uit Polen (maar woon er niet meer sinds 2015). Ik ben verslaafd aan lezen. Ik hou van mijn partner en onze kat, gewicht heffen, videogames en koken. Ik spreek Pools, Engels, Spaans en Portugees (alhoewel de laatste twee nog niet zo goed).
Waar moet ik die 10 vragen voor je toevoegen?
Je kunt ze toevoegen in de "Vereisten"-stap na het boeken van de dienst, of ze sturen in onze chat, als bericht of als bestand. Ik kopieer ze in het uiteindelijke rapport en beantwoord ze daar.
