Do I need to pay for any software?
No. Everything runs on a free Google account (Google Sheets, Forms and Apps Script).
Do staff need to install an app to scan?
No. Staff can scan QR codes with the phone camera or any free QR scanner app.
How many participants can it handle?
Google Sheets handles thousands of rows. For QR emails, Google limits sending to about 100 emails/day on a free Gmail account and about 1,500/day on Google Workspace.
Does it work without internet?
An internet connection is needed at the check-in point so attendance is saved in real time.
Can I reuse the system for the next event?
Yes. You can reset the data or make a copy of the sheet for every new event.
Can you also print QR badges or ID cards?
