What is the difference between a Custom GPT and a RAG assistant?
A Custom GPT lives inside ChatGPT and needs a ChatGPT plan to use. A RAG assistant is your own private app or chat widget that anyone you allow can use, with more control over data and answers.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Everything is set up in your own OpenAI, Claude or database accounts. Your files are not used to train public models through the API, and I delete my copies after delivery.
Which file types can it learn from?
PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, text, web pages, Google Docs, Notion and SharePoint files. Scanned PDFs can be handled with OCR.
Will it make up answers?
I set it to answer only from your documents, show the source and say when it does not know, which greatly reduces wrong answers.
What will it cost to run?
Usually a small monthly API bill based on usage, often under 20 to 50 dollars for small teams. I'll estimate it before we start.
