I will beta read your story and provide a critique

I will Beta Read your manuscript and deliver a completed two-page Beta Reading Worksheet and one page of notes. I prefer science fiction and fantasy from middle-grade to adult, and I'm willing to read other genres. If it is nonfiction, I will only read narrative nonfiction.

The worksheet will give you notes on my impressions of readability and identify any problems with plot or characterization. It covers areas such as my impression of your opening scene, characterization, pacing, plot, setting, and world-building.

Please do not select me to read scenes that contain prolonged torture, abuse, sexual assault, or threat of sexual assault. Characters dealing with the aftermath of such things are acceptable. I will read consensual sex scenes so long as there is no oral sex and the characters involved are within ten years of each other. A greater age gap is acceptable if immortality is involved, and the characters are adults when they first meet. Please do not select me for stories that contain graphic violence, omegaverse, BDSM, cannibalism, or stories created using artificial intelligence. I do not want to read stories containing wyverns posing as dragons.
