Over mij
My name is Melissa, a professional book editor passionate about transforming ideas, stories, and experiences into polished, compelling manuscripts. Editing, to me, goes beyond correcting grammar. It is about strengthening the writer’s voice, sharpening the message, improving clarity, and ensuring every page connects with the reader.
I work across fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, self-help, academic, and business books, bringing precision, creativity, and thoughtful editorial insight to every manuscript while preserving the author’s unique vision.

Her beta reading helped me see where the manuscript needed attention, so I returned for editing. She handled those areas carefully and smoothed out awkward sentences without losing my style. Both stages were useful, and the manuscript reads much better now

After receiving her beta reading feedback, I decided to work with her on editing my manuscript too. That was a very helpful next step. She improved the clarity and flow, corrected errors I had missed, and kept the voice of the story intact. I’m pleased I continued working with her.

Working with this seller on my fantasy novel was a great experience. They paid close attention to the world-building and helped me spot inconsistencies I had missed. I especially appreciated the care taken with my invented terms and character voices. I would gladly work with them again.

I’m so pleased with the work on my romance manuscript. The suggestions helped strengthen the emotional connection between my characters and make their dialogue feel more natural. My writing still feels like mine, which mattered a lot to me. Thank you for treating my story with such care!
