I configure Claude Code, Claude Cowork and Claude Desktop around defined workflows instead of leaving Claude as a general chatbot. My Claude Code setup work includes installation, project configuration, CLAUDE.md structure, permissions, context, GitHub connections, commands, hooks, subagents and Claude Skills. I organize the setup around the repository, tools, files and rules Claude needs for coding, review, research, documentation or repeated project work. Where an existing Claude Code installation is confusing or unreliable, I audit the configuration, remove conflicting instructions and correct parts causing poor context or unwanted actions. For Claude Cowork, I define workflows for documents, folders, research, business tasks and team processes. This may include Claude Projects, Skills, connectors, shared instructions and repeatable task procedures. The goal is to make Claude Cowork useful for a named process while keeping human review where the work requires judgement. I also set up MCP server connections for Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Claude Cowork. MCP integration can connect Claude with GitHub, databases, files, internal tools or documented APIs. I review access, select the relevant tools, configure the connection and test whether Claude can call it correctly. Custom MCP server development is treated separately when an existing connector does not support the required action. Every Claude setup is tested with realistic tasks, incorrect inputs, missing context and permission boundaries. I check whether Claude follows the instructions, uses the correct Skill or MCP tool, asks when information is missing and stops where approval is required. Training can cover Claude Code, Claude Cowork and Claude Desktop so the buyer understands what was configured, how to use it and which settings can be changed without breaking the workflow.
