As a Business Analyst and Data Analyst Intern at Saiket Systems, I worked across real-world data projects delivering end-to-end analysis, data cleaning, business documentation, and insight reporting using Python, SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI. Every project was executed to a professional standard, accurate, structured, and decision-ready. ACHIEVEMENTS: Analyzed a 7,043-record Telco Customer Churn dataset from scratch, profiling all 21 columns, identifying a critical data type mismatch in the Total Charges column, and uncovering 11 hidden missing values that would have compromised any downstream analysis if left untreated. Built a complete data cleaning pipeline using Python and Pandas, handling missing values, removing duplicate records, standardizing all column names to snake case, fixing inconsistent data types, and delivering a fully validated, analysis-ready dataset from a raw, error-filled source file. Conducted full Exploratory Data Analysis using Matplotlib and Seaborn, generating summary statistics, histograms, and box plots across tenure, monthly charges, and total charges, and identified a 26.5% customer churn rate against 73.5% retention, flagging a class imbalance critical for any downstream modelling or business strategy work. Developed customer segmentation visualizations using Plotly and Matplotlib, building pie charts, donut charts, and annotated clustered bar charts that categorized 7,043 customers into tenure-based lifecycle groups and compared average monthly charges across segments, delivering stakeholder ready visual insights. Performed advanced demographic churn analysis by grouping customers across gender, senior citizen status, payment method, and contract type, surfacing that month-to-month contract holders and electronic check payment users represented the highest churn risk segments in the entire dataset.
