Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) During my work at TDCP, I gained practical, hands-on experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, working directly on real tourism projects and operations: - Assisted in designing and developing custom tour plans and itineraries for domestic tourists, considering budget, duration, and points of interest - Supported the coordination and management of tourism-related events, ensuring smooth execution and positive visitor experience - Provided on-ground support to the operations team, including logistics coordination, visitor assistance, and resolving day-to-day issues - Collaborated with senior staff to research popular tourist destinations across Punjab and compile information for tour packages - Assisted in preparing documentation and reports related to tour planning and event management - Gained firsthand understanding of how government tourism bodies plan, promote, and manage tourism activities at a provincial level This experience strengthened my practical skills in itinerary planning, event coordination, and tourist support services — skills I now apply directly to creating custom travel plans for clients.
