The general steps toward a successful analytics setup are: 1 - Build a tracking plan to capture all important user actions. 2 - Work with the dev team to implement events from step 1 3 - Audit the events implemented to ensure data quality. 4- Dashboard and Reports 5- Walkthrough call to guide team.
