Do I need to purchase 'Commercial Rights'?
Almost always - yes! The ONLY reason not to need to buy usage rights is for personal use that WILL NOT be shared in any public domain, such as the internet or social media. 'Commercial Rights' are required for organic, non paid, internal or external use. For paid advertising/broadcast, see next...
I want to use your voice in paid advertising or broadcast. Is that okay?
Sure! If you intend to use my voice in paid advertising/promotion on the web or your socials, simply purchase the 'Paid Online Rights'. This covers you for one video/ad for up to a whole year. Multiples can be purchased for cut downs or longer durations. Please just ask me for a quote for TV/Radio!
I need music included with my voiceover, can you help?
Yes, no problem. Simply add the 'background music' extra, then visit https://app.soundstripe.com/royalty-free-music to choose the track(s) you would like. Please add a link to your choice(s) in the requirements section when placing your order. I can also mix in a track you already own if preferred.
Do you offer 'Timed Audio Sync'?
Yes! Simply purchase the 'Timed Audio Sync' gig extra with your order. This is for when you want my voice to fit an existing video perfectly.
Can you make sure my voiceover is a set duration/length?
Yes! Just add the extra, making sure that your script is of a reasonable length to fit the desired duration. As a guide, one minute of voiceover is around 150 words. This of course depends on the direction and language used, so I'd recommend timing yourself reading it aloud yourself to check.
What's included in the free revision you offer?
Should I have made any mistakes, please inform me within three days of delivery, and I will correct them, free of charge within 24 hours (usually much quicker). Please note, this does not include changes to script or direction.
Do you offer revisions for script changes or changes in direction?
Yes. Simply purchase the ‘additional revisions’ gig extra. Each revision includes one individual change of up to 35 words and will be completed within 24 hours of the request. Extensive re-writes or complete direction change will require a new order.
Do you offer 'Live Direction'?
Yes, you can connect via Zoom, Skype or Source Connect and direct me while I record your voice over so you can get the exact read you want. You will need to purchase my 'Live Direction' gig extra. After you make your purchase, we will set a time for the live direction that works for both parties.
Do you split files?
Yes, simply order the gig extra, let me know exactly what you need me to split, and I will create up to 5 split files/duplicates for $10.
