Ik voer een volledige tekst- en regelcorrectie uit op uw werk. Dit omvat het corrigeren van grammatica, interpunctie, werkwoordstijden, dialoogstructuur, typefouten en het herschrijven van lastige zinnen.
Ik zal ook op inconsistenties letten. Alle spelling, afbreekstreepjes, cijfers, lettertypen en hoofdletters zullen consistent zijn. Daarnaast zal ik eventuele inconsistenties in het verhaal opsporen. Als je bijvoorbeeld zegt dat je personage allergisch is voor noten, zal ik daaraan denken als ze 100 pagina's later een Snickers eten.
Als je wilt, doe ik ook een lichte factcheck. De meeste verhalen die ik behandel zijn fictie, dus er wordt niet van ze verwacht dat ze feitelijk correct zijn. Wil je echter dat je verhaal wel feitelijk correct is, laat het me dan weten, dan controleer ik de feiten terwijl ik bezig ben.
Bij het proeflezen evalueer ik je personages, stijl, tempo en plot.
Wanneer ik je bestelling aflever, bevat deze drie documenten. Ten eerste stuur ik je je originele stuk terug met mijn Microsoft Word-opmaak. Zo kun je precies zien wat ik heb gewijzigd. Ten tweede stuur ik je je volledig herziene, herschreven en gepolijste werk terug. Tot slot stuur ik je een volledig lezersrapport dat ik als bètalezer zal opstellen.
