I started my career at IKEA, where I had the opportunity to specialize in kitchen design and build a strong foundation in interior planning. This experience taught me the essential principles and techniques of kitchen design, including space planning, functionality, ergonomics, storage solutions, and making the most of every available space. During my time at IKEA, I designed and developed numerous kitchens from scratch, working closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, lifestyle, and budget. Seeing these projects become real kitchens and knowing that they brought happiness and improved everyday life for my clients was one of the most rewarding parts of my work. Working directly with customers also helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and a deeper understanding of how important it is to listen before designing. I learned that a successful design is not only about how a space looks, but also about how well it works for the person using it. For me, good design is where aesthetics, functionality, and the client’s everyday needs come together.
