Am I affected by PHP2Shell?
Versions before 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 or 8.2.35 are affected, and 8.1 or older gets no official fix. Some hosts backport fixes, so I check your real setup instead of guessin
Which PHP version will you move me to?
A supported PHP 8 version your app and host can run, 8.3 or newer when your app allows. I check plugin and code compatibility first and tell you if something blocks the move.
My site broke after a PHP update. Can you fix it?
Yes. White screens, fatal errors and broken plugins are common after a PHP change. Send the error message and PHP version. I fix it on a copy first, unless your site is down and you approve working live.
Do you work on non-WordPress PHP apps?
Yes: Laravel, Joomla, CodeIgniter, custom portals and older business apps. Send me the framework and version first so I can confirm it’s a fit.
Is this hack cleanup?
No, this gig is upgrading and hardening. If I see signs of a past break-in, I’ll tell you and quote cleanup as a separate scope.
Can you review a healthcare or HIPAA portal?
Yes, with HIPAA in mind, covering access controls, logging and data handling. It’s a technical review, not legal advice or a compliance certificate
