Product Design & CAD Engineer

BMW Group – Germany

Feb 2026 - Feb 20260 mos

At BMW, I was part of the team designing a lightweight mechanical assembly for automotive interiors. We faced challenges with material constraints and tight spatial requirements, which caused repeated clashes in assemblies. I conducted a detailed analysis using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, optimized parametric constraints, and ran virtual simulations to detect collisions early. By reorganizing the design workflow and communicating directly with the materials and manufacturing teams, we finalized a design that met both aesthetic and functional standards. This project taught me the importance of precision engineering, cross-team collaboration, and combining CAD expertise with real-world manufacturing considerations.

Industrial Product Designer

Bosch Rexroth – Germany

Jan 2026 - Jan 20260 mos

During my time at Bosch Rexroth, I was tasked with creating a 3D printable prototype for a new hydraulic component. Early iterations had issues with stress concentration and printability; layers kept warping during prototyping. I analyzed the CAD model in Fusion 360 and applied parametric modifications, adjusting wall thickness, support structures, and tolerances for 3D printing. After iterative prototyping, I delivered a functional and manufacturable prototype. The client was able to test the hydraulic component before full-scale production, saving weeks of development time. This role sharpened my 3D printing expertise, CAD parametric design, and ability to turn ideas into functional prototypes.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Siemens AG – Germany

Dec 2025 - Dec 20250 mos

At Siemens, I worked on designing mechanical components for industrial automation systems. One project involved a complex assembly of conveyor system parts where the initial CAD models didn’t align properly with manufacturing tolerances, causing delays. I realized that the root cause was inconsistent parametric constraints across sub-components. I reorganized the CAD hierarchy in SolidWorks, applied robust parametric relations, and simulated assembly interactions before finalizing. This not only solved the misalignment but also reduced production errors by 30%. Collaborating with manufacturing engineers, I ensured the final design was ready-to-fabricate while maintaining efficiency and precision. This experience strengthened my skills in mechanical CAD, problem solving, and industrial design workflows.
