Ik ben een mixing engineer met meer dan 25 jaar ervaring in het mixen van alternative rock, space rock, progressive rock, shoegaze rock, metal en soortgelijke genres. Ik begon met mixen toen ik 14 was, met een Tascam 4-Track tape recorder. Ik heb in verschillende studio's in de VS gewerkt, waaronder Orbit Audio in Seattle. Daar heb ik het prog album A Series of Images van A Violent Purple opgenomen. Tijdens mijn carrière heb ik veel trucjes geleerd voor meesterlijk mixen en mastering, van enkele echt geweldige engineers.
Ik ben beschikbaar voor zowel mixen als mastering. Als je maar één van de twee wilt, laat het me gerust weten. Ik mix in een studio met een behandelde en gekalibreerde ruimte en gebruik een subwoofer. Daardoor kan ik zeer nauwkeurige mixes maken en een goede lage tonenweergave bereiken.
Mijn favoriete mixers zijn Joe Baressi, Butch Big, Rich Costey en Ken Andrews. Mijn favoriete bands zijn Tool, Failure en The Mars Volta. Hopelijk zegt dit iets over wat ik graag luister.
