I reconcile Shopify payouts to bank deposits for US sellers. Every payout tied line by line: processing fees, refunds that settled in a different payout than the sale, chargebacks split into the disputed amount and the dispute fee separately, reserves, and orders that fell past the payout cutoff. The arithmetic closes to $0.00, or I tell you honestly which line does not tie and why. I also build bookkeeping software for Shopify sellers, so I do this work every week. I am not a CPA.
