What information do you need from me to get started?
After you place your order, Fiverr will ask you a short set of questions. We need your strategy rules in plain English, the asset you trade, and your timeframe. You do not need any coding knowledge — just describe what you want the strategy to do.
Will the Pine Script work directly in TradingView?
Yes. You receive a .pine file or code block you paste into TradingView's Pine Script editor (Pine Script v5). It runs as a strategy with entry/exit signals on your chart and backtest results in the Strategy Tester panel. No additional setup beyond a free TradingView account.
Do you do Forex strategies?
No. SmartAlgo Labs focuses exclusively on cryptocurrency markets and US stocks and ETFs. If you trade Forex, this gig is not the right fit.
What if the strategy does not perform well in the backtest?
We code your rules exactly as you describe them and report the backtest results honestly. If performance is weak, that is valuable information — it tells you the rules need refining before you risk real money. Your revision allows you to adjust parameters and we will re-run it.
Can the Python script connect to my broker to trade automatically?
The Standard package delivers a Python script for backtesting. The Premium package includes broker API integration notes (Alpaca for stocks, CCXT for crypto) explaining how to wire the strategy to live trading. Full deployment is a separate engagement — message us to discuss.
