Worked as a WordPress Website Designer, designing and developing professional websites using WordPress and Elementor Pro. I designed complete website layouts and built pages, sections, headers, footers, navigation menus, forms, CTAs, cards, testimonials, and other UI elements. I worked on projects across different industries, including a company website (TanXter Technologies), plumbing services, cab/taxi services, catering, and restaurant websites. I handled the overall visual structure from planning and designing sections to implementing them in WordPress and Elementor. I also used custom HTML, CSS, and code where required to achieve specific design, styling, layout, functionality, and responsive requirements beyond standard Elementor options. A major part of my role was designing layouts specifically for desktop, tablet, and mobile, rather than simply making desktop layouts responsive. I carefully adjusted spacing, typography, alignment, images, buttons, navigation, and section structures for different screen sizes. I also used Figma and Canva to create and prepare design assets and wrote and structured website content when required. I worked on both new and existing websites, improving layouts and resolving design, responsiveness, styling, and functionality issues. I also reviewed other team members' websites to identify layout issues, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement, checking designs across different devices. Additionally, I assisted with technical issues, Elementor problems, custom CSS/code requirements, styling, and responsive layouts. This experience developed my practical skills in WordPress, Elementor Pro, website design, responsive UI design, custom HTML/CSS, Figma, Canva, content writing, testing, troubleshooting, and quality checking, while working on real-world projects and collaborating with a team.
