Hello! My name is Reina Delgado. I’m a Navy veteran trained in all things media. I received basic training in photography, videography, and graphic design at the Defense Information School in Maryland. From there, I received an Associate Degree in Digital Photography and a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts from Southern New Hampshire University. I’ve also earned Adobe certifications in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Even though the Navy influenced my passion for graphic design, I’m excited to expand my skills and experience beyond my military service.

- Received training in graphic design, photography, videography, and journalism at the Defense Information School. - Stationed aboard the USS Ronald Reagan for three years as a graphic designer in the print shop, responsible for daily print jobs, custom designs, and daily newspaper layout design. - Designed two 500+ cruisebooks (yearbooks) for USS Ronald Reagan front to back, including theme ideation, layout design, photo capturing and compilation, and packaging for print. - Transferred to the Pentagon, working as a social media manager for the Department of Defense for four years, responsible for daily digital communications to a worldwide audience. - Led national social media campaigns for events such as the Super Bowl, NASCAR Coca-Cola 600, and the Bataan Memorial Death March, including building communication campaigns, social media posts, capturing imagery, and producing long-form and short-form videography. - Led the DOD Social Media Graphic Team in ensuring over 300 social media graphics met quality and brand standards. - Designed the department's look book from conception to completion, gathering imagery and bios, while maintaining DOD branding and style guidelines, and ensuring final delivery available in print and digital formats.

- Accepted a DOD SkillBridge internship at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, where I worked as a graphic designer for the Office of Communications. - Supported internal and external communication through print and digital design aligned with NASA’s branding standards. - Designed and produced large-format banner graphics for Artemis II, the Pandora satellite mission, and the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope using Adobe Photoshop, with final designs printed and displayed across the Goddard campus. - Led the design and production of the 2025 “Year in Review” publication in both print and digital formats using Adobe InDesign, collaborating with Public Affairs Officers, scientists, and communication specialists to organize content and ensure accuracy of technical information. - Developed internal communication materials, including museum signage and plaques, using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as PowerPoint presentations supporting communication across multiple departments.
