What do you need from me to start the pattern?
Please send your sketch, tech pack, reference images, measurements/size chart, existing garment measurements, or current pattern files if available. Also tell me the required sizes, seam allowance, and preferred output formats.
Which printable file formats can you provide?
I can provide home-printable A4, US Letter, A0 copy-shop, and projector-ready PDF files. DXF, AI, or other production files can also be discussed if required.
Can you create a sewing pattern from only a photo or sketch?
Yes. I can develop a pattern from clear reference photos, sketches, measurements, or a tech pack. For complicated designs, additional measurements or construction details may be required.
Can you make layered PDF patterns?
Yes. I can create layered PDF files so customers can select and print only the size or sizes they need.
Do you provide pattern grading into multiple sizes?
Yes. I can grade patterns into multiple sizes for womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, streetwear, sportswear, and other garment categories. Please provide your preferred size chart, or contact me to discuss grading standards.
Will the pattern include seam allowance and professional markings?
Yes. Depending on your requirements, patterns can include seam allowance, grainlines, notches, drill points, fold lines, cut quantity, piece names, size identification, and other necessary markings.
How do I know the PDF will print at the correct scale?
I can include a 1-inch / 5-cm test square so you or your customers can check the printing scale before assembling and cutting the complete pattern.
Can I sell the finished sewing pattern on Etsy or my own website?
Yes. I can prepare professional printable pattern files for indie sewing-pattern brands, Etsy shops, and other digital pattern businesses. Please tell me before ordering if the pattern is intended for commercial resale so I can prepare the files accordingly.
Can you convert my existing pattern into A4, US Letter, A0, or projector format?
Yes. If you already have a DXF, AI, PDF, or other usable pattern file, I can arrange and convert it into professional home-printable and copy-shop layouts.
