Are you doing a web comic but recently doing the script, thumbnails, grading and the colors is consuming too much of your time, and you're not having time to rest and do other things? Well, maybe you should hire me as your flatter!
A flatter is a person who set the flat colors (or local colors) on the comic page, so the colorist can easily access each section through selection when working the final colors. I'm not coloring the pages, I'm not doing the final art, this is a job for colorists, and I'm not that good (yet). The flatter will create the selections to ease other people's jobs. The most common pricing for flatter is $12/page, but I'm beginning the carrier, so I'm doing more simple pages for $8 each, and more complex pages for $10. I'll do the colors in separate layers, each one with the name so you'll know what is happening, devided in folders, also with their proper names, everything in a nice and neat .PSD file.
Leave the hard flatting work for me and go have a happy hour with your family and friends! Your comic will be really nice yet, and you'll have more time to enjoy other hobbies!

I'm Robin, and I'm willing to work as a Flatter for comic writers, doing small photoshop edits and maybe writing articles for blogs about games and movies. Believe me, what I am is not so interesting like what I can do around.

What is a flatter?
Flatter is a profession who set the flat colors, or local colors, in each section of the comic page. This process turns easier the work of doing the final art, once that the colorist can easily select the section of the page (ex.: a shirt or the face of a character) by using the wand tool.
Why do I need a flatter?
If you're doing a comic, you'll probably need more time to dedicate to plots and character development. So, by hiring a flatter, the boring work of selecting and putting colors in with someone else and you'll have time to other stuff.
How does it work?
Easy! You send me the final lineart of your comic and I'll do the flats on photoshop. Once I'm ready with it and all is neat in their respective folders, I'll send you back the .psd file so you can do your DO's with!
Why do you charge per page?
Flatting is a very time-consuming job. Depending of the page, I'll work like 3 or 4 hours on it, and if the page is more complex, I can spend even more time on it. Besides, every flatter charges per page.
Can you give me a discount? It's a ton of pages.
