Independent Music Producer & Vocal Production Specialist

I develop and refine music productions with particular attention to the relationship between the instrumental and the vocal. My approach is less about adding elements for the sake of complexity and more about making each part serve the song. I collaborate remotely with artists and songwriters on original productions, helping shape arrangements, vocal sections, harmonies, transitions, dynamics, and overall musical direction. When a track already has an instrumental, I work around its existing character while identifying areas where the vocal arrangement can create more movement and contrast. My production experience includes Pop, R&B, Soul, Rock, Metal, Country, and crossover projects. I am comfortable working with both polished productions and early-stage demos where the creative direction still needs to be developed. Vocal production is a major part of my workflow. I help determine where lead vocals should remain exposed, where doubles can add weight, where harmonies can widen a section, and where ad-libs can add personality without overcrowding the arrangement. Because I also work as a vocalist and songwriter, I approach production from the perspective of both the performer and the finished record. This helps me make practical decisions about vocal range, phrasing, arrangement, dynamics, and the overall listener experience. My remote workflow is built around clear communication, organized project delivery, and keeping the original artistic direction intact while bringing the production closer to a release-ready result.

Professional Male Vocalist & Recording Artist
Jan 2020 - Present • 6 yrs 7 mos
I work as a male recording vocalist across a broad range of contemporary styles, taking songs from written lyrics, rough demos, or instrumental ideas to finished vocal performances. My work covers Pop, R&B, Soul, Rock, Metal, Country, and alternative styles, with an emphasis on adapting the voice to the character of the song rather than forcing every project into the same vocal approach. Depending on the material, this can mean a clean and controlled delivery, a warmer soulful performance, a gritty rock interpretation, or a heavier vocal approach. I record lead vocals, harmonies, doubles, backing vocals, ad-libs, and vocal layers, paying close attention to phrasing, timing, dynamics, pitch, and the emotional intention behind the lyrics. I also work from references when an artist has a particular vocal character or performance direction in mind. A major part of my work is understanding what a song needs before recording it. I consider the arrangement, lyrical perspective, instrumental energy, and intended audience before deciding how the vocal should sit within the production. Through remote collaborations, I have worked with artists, producers, and songwriters on original music projects, delivering organized vocal recordings that can move directly into the next stage of production.
Songwriter & Vocal Producer
Jan 2020 - Present • 6 yrs 7 mos
I help artists turn unfinished musical ideas into songs with a clear identity, memorable vocal lines, and a structure that supports the message of the track. My songwriting work can begin with something as simple as a title, concept, instrumental, unfinished lyric, or rough recording. From there, I develop lyrics, hooks, toplines, melodies, vocal phrasing, and song structure while keeping the artist's original direction at the centre of the process. I write across Pop, R&B, Soul, Rock, Country, Metal, and alternative songwriting styles. Rather than relying on a fixed formula, I shape the writing around the mood and purpose of each track. A conversational verse may need a completely different approach from an anthemic chorus or a darker rock composition. I also approach songwriting from a vocalist's perspective. I consider whether a melody is naturally singable, where a vocalist should breathe, how the chorus should lift, and where harmonies or additional vocal layers can create impact. For remote projects, I communicate closely with artists and producers throughout the creative process, making sure the final lyrics and vocal direction fit the instrumental rather than simply sounding good on paper. The result is songwriting built for performance: clear ideas, purposeful melodies, memorable hooks, and vocal parts that give the finished production somewhere to go.
