• Oversee and manage multiple client bookkeeping, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting • Review and approve bookkeeping work completed by junior staff • Lead month-end and year-end close processes • Ensure proper chart of accounts setup and consistency across clients • Perform and review complex bank reconciliation • Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow • Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) • Identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities; provide actionable insights to clients • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and relationship management • Coordinate with CPAs, tax advisors, and auditors during tax and audit processes • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies • Manage client onboarding, cleanup, and process improvements • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities • Mentor, train, and guide junior accountants/bookkeepers • Recommend and implement accounting system e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, FreshBooks • Monthly bookkeeping for real estate, e-commerce, restaurant, marketing services, property management, airbnb, short term rentals and other small businesses
