Mind palaces have been popularized in fictional TV shows such as Sherlock and video games such as Alan Wake 2. However, they are anything but fictional. They are a real and teachable phenomenon that predates the Roman Empire.

In the simplest of terms, the mind palace technique is the practice of memorizing a series of images and imagining objects inside of those images. It has been used to memorize and recall over a dozen decks of cards after seeing each card for one brief moment and is by far the most effective way of improving memory. Best of all, ANYONE can do it.

The benefits of mind palaces include enhanced memory, better grades, faster language learning, the prevention of brain related diseases such as Alzheimer's and dementia, and managing Relapse-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis.
