I mainly work with heavy genres like groove metal, hardcore, numetal, doom metal etc. My approach is simple: keep the track heavy, keep the attitude, and shape it into a mix that hits hard without losing its edge.
Im not chasing a sterile, over-polished sound. I prefer mixes that keep some dirt and weight in them hard hitting drums, guitars with bite, and a low end that feels solid instead of bloated.
Every song is treated individually. The goal is a mix that translates well but still feels raw, aggressive and alive.

That’s the goal. Not polished pop-clean, but properly mixed and mastered so it stands next to other heavy releases without falling apart.
