Our team worked on a data analytics project for Saint Louis University to analyze student recruitment and enrollment data. The goal was to identify program demand, evaluate recruitment funnel performance, and generate data-driven insights to support better decision-making. We worked with four datasets—Applicant, Connect, SEVIS, and Outreach—covering the full student lifecycle from application to enrollment. During the project, we faced challenges such as missing values, duplicate records, and coordinating across different time zones. We addressed these by cleaning and standardizing the data, validating metrics using SQL, and building interactive dashboards in Looker Studio. The final outcome included validated dashboards, key insights on recruitment performance, and actionable recommendations to improve conversion rates and recruitment strategies.
