Over deze dienst

Before the actual jigsaw puzzle of video editing starts, you have to lay out the pieces in front of you. That's why I'm here! As an assistant editor, I am skilled with quickly and efficiently prepping footage for offline editors. Though I've used many nonlinear editing programs, Adobe Premiere Pro is the one I have access to at the moment, so please be sure you (or your editor) will be editing with a related program and that your files are compatible!

Here is a basic overview of my offers:

Basic:

I will create an Adobe Premiere project file
I will organize your footage within the project file
I will create a "Synch" bin and a synch sequence
I will synch your footage in the synch sequence

Standard:

I will do everything listed under "Basic"
I will then make a "Dailies" or "String-Outs" bin
I will sort/organize your footage into dailies/string-outs sequences

Premium:

I will do everything listed under "Standard"
I will then make a "Selects" bin
I will scrub through the dailies, color coding each clip as cyan (useable), rose (good), or mango (best), and then pull the colored clips into new tracks
I will duplicate that sequence and repeat the process until I have found the best of the best

Will you set up multicam?

Yes, I would be happy to create those for you under the "Standard" or "Premium" packages.

What is the max. file size you can work with?

Anything that can be sent over Dropbox or WeTransfer should be fine. The amount of footage rather than its file size will determine if I can work with it. I will not work with 2K, 4K, 6K, etc. footage UNLESS you send me proxy versions of those files and plan to re-link your media upon return.

What editing program will you use?

I will use Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017.

What do you mean by "assembly"?

Thanks for asking! A rough first assembly is just putting the pieces in the "right" place. It serves mainly for story flow and pacing and doesn't include things like transitions, effects, titles, etc. This process is less subjective if there is a script to go off of.
