Do you repeatedly copy dates, amounts or reference numbers from PDF documents into spreadsheets? I can turn one agreed document layout into a repeatable Python workflow.
Basic extracts up to five agreed fields from one text-based PDF of up to three pages and delivers a CSV or Excel file.
Standard includes a reusable Python script for one layout, source code, dependencies and run instructions. Premium adds a batch workflow for two agreed layouts, validation flags and logging.
We define the fields, sample documents and expected output before development. Missing or invalid values are flagged for review.

Does the package include a reusable Python script?
Basic delivers the extracted output file. Standard and Premium include Python source code, dependency information and run instructions, so you can process future documents that match the agreed layouts.
Can you process scanned PDFs or images?
The listed packages cover text-based PDFs with selectable text. Scanned files need OCR and a separate assessment. Please send an anonymized sample before ordering.
Can you extract invoice line items or tables?
The packages cover agreed fixed fields such as dates, reference numbers and totals. Repeating line-item tables need a separate assessment and quote based on sample documents.
Can you work with different PDF layouts?
Standard covers one agreed layout; Premium covers up to two. Documents from additional suppliers or with materially different layouts need a separate scope.
Can you add an AI or API connection?
For suitable projects, I can assess an integration after reviewing your documents and the provider's documentation. We agree the scope, provider, usage costs and handling of document data before implementation. AI/API usage is not included in the listed packages.
What does a revision include?
One round of adjustments within the agreed fields, layouts and output requirements. Additional document layouts, fields or features are quoted separately.
How do you check the extracted data?
We define expected results using your representative samples. The delivery includes a checked example run and flags missing or invalid requested values for review. A validation flag helps identify issues; it does not certify every value as correct.
What are the package limits?
Basic covers 1 PDF and up to 5 fixed fields. Standard covers 1 layout and up to 10 fixed fields. Premium covers up to 2 layouts and 15 fixed fields per layout. All listed packages cover text-based PDFs up to 3 pages per document. Select one output format per order.
How many sample files are checked, and where can the script run?
Standard is checked on up to 50 supplied sample PDFs; Premium on up to 100. These counts define delivery checks, not future run limits. We target one agreed local operating system. Hosting, a GUI, installers and ongoing support need a separate scope.
