Senior CGI Specialist
NielsenIQ • Fulltime
Mar 2020 - Jul 2022 • 2 yrs 4 mos
Creating product renders for leading global brands like Tesco, Waitrose, Coca Cola, Wakefern etc. Using software like Maya, Blender and IC3D to create photorealistic CG models rendered in Keyshot up to 10 unique models a day. High and Low poly workflow that uses procedural software that helped us create photoreal renders. I also worked on CG backgrounds for products creating photorealistic room-sets like bathrooms, kitchens and other home like rooms. My senior role included preparing PC’s and software for 8 juniors and creating a teaching plan on how I would get them up to speed for the role. As they were coming from different backgrounds of 3D knowledge I had to adapt my teaching to encompass this. I also had to learn Blender as I was teaching both Maya and Blender as the main 3D softwares, plus Photoshop, Illustrator and then Keyshot. Once onboarded I taught daily lessons on the softwares understanding their different skill levels and create enough training for each person. I did admin for the team tracking the workflow watching the orders go through the processes and talking to clients and other offices around the world. High turn around for models and always meeting deadlines. Late second "fast track" orders completed within the day (overtime.)
