Accountant – Bookkeeping & Payroll (Australian Clients) The kalculators, Lahore (Remote, Australian clients) | 15 Jan 2024– Present Handle full bookkeeping and payroll for 12+ Australian clients, mostly home care and disability service providers, plus allied-health practices. Invoicing & Billing Prepare and send client invoices on time to match services delivered and contract terms. Record receipts against open invoices, track overdue debtors and follow up on late payments. Bank Reconciliation & Bookkeeping Reconcile bank and credit card accounts in Xero and QuickBooks, coding each line to the right account and GST code. Find and fix unmatched and duplicate entries so the ledgers are clean and ready for month-end. Payroll (Fortnightly Pay Runs) Run end-to-end fortnightly pay runs in Employment Hero, checking shifts against Brevity rosters and timesheets. Apply the SCHADS Award (MA000100) rules: broken shifts, minimum engagement, weekend and public holiday penalties, overtime, sleepovers and allowances. Set up new employees (pay rates, tax and super details) and process terminations, including final pay and leave payouts. Check kilometre (travel) claims, leave records and duplicate claims before each pay run is approved. Prepare reports for clients on hours, leave, kilometre claims and new starters.
