Did your host upgrade PHP, and now your site says "There has been a critical error on this website"? You're not alone. In January 2026, about 47% of WordPress sites still ran PHP versions that no longer get security updates, and PHP 8.2 loses security support on December 31, 2026. Hosts are moving sites to PHP 8.3 and 8.4, and old plugins, themes and custom code break.
I'm a WordPress plugin developer. I fix the code itself, so you can run a modern, secure PHP version instead of switching back to an old one.
What I do:
- Fix fatal errors, white screens and a broken admin
- Scan the whole site for PHP 8.3 and 8.4 problems
- Repair old custom plugins and theme code (removed functions, deprecations, warnings)
- Replace abandoned plugins with maintained ones, if you prefer
- Work on a staging copy first, with a full backup
- Check compatibility with WordPress 7

No. That only hides the problem, and old PHP versions don't get security updates. I fix the code so your site runs on PHP 8.3 or 8.4.
Will my site go down while you work?
I work on a staging copy first and take a full backup. The live switch happens at a low-traffic time and takes minutes.
What if one of my plugins is abandoned?
I can patch it to work on PHP 8, or replace it with a maintained plugin that does the same job. You choose.
