DevOps Engineer
Atlass Computer Technology • Fulltime
Aug 2025 - Present • 1 yr
Since August, I’ve been working as a DevOps Engineer at Atlass Computer Technology, focusing on deploying, managing, and troubleshooting microservice-based applications. I work with CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, and cloud-native tooling to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery. My role includes maintaining Kubernetes clusters, optimizing deployment workflows, monitoring application performance, and resolving production issues. I collaborate closely with development teams to streamline releases, improve system stability, and automate operational tasks. By leveraging tools like Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and observability platforms, I help maintain scalable, resilient environments and ensure smooth delivery of microservices across multiple stages of the development lifecycle.
Sr. System | DevOps Engineer
JSI/DHA • Fulltime
Dec 2018 - May 2025 • 6 yrs 5 mos
From 2019 to 2025, I worked as a Senior System Administrator and DevOps Engineer at JSI, supporting and modernizing both on-premises and cloud infrastructure. I managed physical and virtual servers, storage systems, network devices, and firewalls while ensuring high availability, performance, and security for core systems used across all sites. I provisioned and administered VMs, performed system hardening, handled patching, and maintained local data-center operations. I designed and administered cloud solutions across AWS and Google Cloud, working with EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Load Balancers, CDN, and related services. I implemented secure cloud networking, DNS management, firewall rules, and exposed internal services safely to the internet. My DevOps work included building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Argo CD, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, Git, and Bitbucket. I automated application delivery using GitOps practices and improved deployment reliability through clear workflows and version control standards. I containerized and orchestrated applications with Docker and Kubernetes, creating deployments, services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress rules, and storage configurations. I automated infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and handled configuration management, access control, and secure credential handling. I managed relational and non-relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB, ensuring proper backups and recovery procedures. I also collaborated closely with development, support teams, and service providers to troubleshoot issues, enhance performance, and maintain smooth system operations. Throughout my time at JSI, I contributed to infrastructure modernization, improved automation, strengthened system security, and supported organization-wide digital transformation by building stable, scalable, and efficient systems.
System Administrator
JSI/Aidsfree • Fulltime
Sep 2014 - Oct 2019 • 5 yrs 1 mo
From 2014 to 2019, I worked as a System Administrator at JSI, supporting multiple sites and ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT operations across the organization. My responsibilities included configuring and managing servers, virtual machines, storage systems, and network infrastructure to support business-critical applications. I handled installation, configuration, and maintenance of LAN and WAN networks, Wi-Fi systems, routing, switching, and overall network availability. During this period, I managed both on-premises and cloud-based systems on AWS and Google Cloud. I worked with EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud CDN, Cloud DNS, and other GCP services. I supported cloud migrations, configured cloud networking, and ensured reliable access to hosted services. I also implemented firewall rules and security configurations to safely expose internal systems to the internet. I managed SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases, including installation, configuration, scheduled backups, and recovery. I worked on hosting and migrating databases, configuring ports, and ensuring users and external systems could access web applications securely and reliably. My responsibilities further included configuring virtual machines, troubleshooting system and network issues, supporting remote sites using SSH and remote tools, and ensuring smooth daily operations across all branches. I collaborated with internet and telecom service providers to maintain network stability and address service interruptions. Throughout these years, I provided user support, maintained system availability, enforced security policies, and ensured that servers, applications, and networks were running efficiently. This period built the foundation for my transition into advanced DevOps and cloud engineering roles in later years.
