Over the years, I have completed audiobook projects involving narration, noise reduction, mastering, pacing correction, breath control, dialogue balancing, chapter formatting, and final audio optimization for platforms like ACX, Audible, and Amazon. I understand the technical side of audiobook production, including RMS levels, peak values, room-tone consistency, and clean mastering requirements for approval. One memorable project involved an author whose audiobook was rejected by ACX due to background noise, inconsistent volume levels, and incorrect chapter spacing. I carefully reviewed the entire project, repaired the audio issues, re-edited the files, mastered each chapter to ACX compliance, and delivered a polished final production that was later approved successfully.
