Hi, I'm Stefan, an audio producer and editor for a recording studio in Kitchener, ON named Canadian Daydream. I have been editing since 2016 and have worked with plenty of instruments including drums, acoustic/electric guitar, bass, and vocals. My main DAW's are Pro Tools and Logic Pro. I will time align and edit any instruments making sure they are nice and tight in your track. I can also tune select instruments including vocals, and also mix as well! Should I send DI tracks or amped tracks with FX?
DI tracks are always preferred - if you have them, send them along with any live amp tracks, with NO FX. If you are using an amp plugin, no need to send the amped tracks, as they can be reapplied after editing. If you ONLY have amp tracks, it can be harder to edit, so please message me first!
I want my guitars to sound tight, but not robotic, can you do this?
Absolutely! My goal is to find the perfect balance between perfectly 'in-time' and 'grooving' with the track.
Some of my guitar tracks are very short, can I get a discount?
Yes, I will often base my pricing upon total run time instead of individual tracks. Just message me first and send the tracks and I can give you a custom offer!
My guitar is out of tune in some parts, can it be fixed?
Message me first so I can have a listen - it is usually possible, but not always. At the very least though I can make it a little better :)
