What is SDK-based Copilot Studio work vs no-code?
No-code Copilot Studio has a visual builder. SDK-based means writing actual code (C#, JavaScript, or Python) using the Microsoft 365 Agents SDK or Bot Framework. This unlocks custom UI, deep API logic, and complex behavior no-code cannot handle.
Which SDK do you use?
Microsoft 365 Agents SDK (the current recommended SDK, formerly Bot Framework SDK). I work in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python. I pick the stack that matches your existing environment or team preference.
Can the SDK bot still integrate with Copilot Studio?
Yes. I build Custom Engine Agents that hand off to and from Copilot Studio topics. You get the best of both: no-code topic authoring where it fits, and coded logic where it does not.
Where does the bot get deployed?
Azure Bot Service. From there it publishes to Microsoft Teams, web (React WebChat or Direct Line), custom mobile apps, or any channel Bot Framework supports.
