The Web Development Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering high-impact technical training programs at CBC Astore. The primary goal is to equip local youth and professionals with modern web technologies, enabling them to pursue careers in the global digital economy, freelancing, or local entrepreneurship. My job includes: Technical Training: Conduct hands-on sessions on core web technologies, typically covering: Frontend: HTML5, CSS3 (Bootstrap/Tailwind), and JavaScript (ES6+). Backend: Node.js, PHP, or Python, alongside database management (MySQL/MongoDB). Modern Frameworks: Introduce students to popular frameworks such as React or Next.js to ensure they meet current industry standards. Project-Based Learning: Guide students through the full development lifecycle, from wireframing to deploying live websites on platforms like GitHub, Vercel, or Netlify. Mentorship & Career Readiness Freelancing Guidance: Provide specific training on navigating platforms like Upwork and Fiverr, helping students bid on projects and manage international clients. Portfolio Building: Assist trainees in creating professional portfolios that showcase their technical skills to potential employers. Soft Skills: Teach essential professional habits, including version control (Git), debugging, and effective communication. Operational Excellence Skill Gap Analysis: Assess the local market and student needs to update course content regularly. Evaluation: Monitor student progress through regular coding challenges, quizzes, and final capstone projects. Lab Management: Ensure the computing environment is optimized for learning and that students have access to necessary development tools.
