The freelancer was prompt, responsive, and fixed the code so that the program is working again. It was great when he did a screen share to see what exactly the problem was so that it could be fixed (as he couldn't reproduce the issue but *believed* I was having the issue). I would ABSOLUTELY use his services in the future.
